Environmental Research |
AADI products for
environmental research have
been used in the
oceanographic, hydrographic,
river and lake research, as
well as climate research
markets for more than 40
years. AADI has completely
renewed its product offering
over the last 10 years.
Today, AADI delivers the
most technologically
advanced self-contained
and/or integrated remote
underwater and atmospheric
observation systems in the
marketplace.
Our Seaguard platform and
expanding line-up of smart
sensors may be used either
as a self-recording
instrument, or as a
real-time Met-Ocean
observing network. This
versatility is available
without the extra cost
associated with a custom
solution.
AADI systems for the
environmental research
communities include Seaguard
RCM/CTD, Recording Doppler
Current Profiler, automatic
weather stations, wave and
tide stations and buoy
systems. Stand-alone sensors
are available for measuring
parameters such as
conductivity, temperature,
pressure, oxygen, wave and
tide, currents and water
level.

Oil & Gas |
AADI instrumentation has
offered high quality
information to improve the
safety of the offshore
operations for more than 40
years.
Today’s exploration and
development sites are
located in the deep ocean or
in Arctic regions with harsh
environmental conditions,
making it increasingly
difficult to operate.
Since the 1970’s AADI has
offered crane load
monitoring and safety
systems through the MIPEG
brand. It has become an
industry standard for
offshore crane load
monitoring and safety
systems.
Being engineered together
with more than 40
international crane
manufacturers, the MIPEG
systems are used by more
than 160 operators
worldwide. The systems are
currently in use on more
than 1700 offshore
installations.
Aanderaa Data Instruments is
also a leading player in the
collection and transmission
of environmental
information. Accurate
measurements improve
environmental impact
assessment and the
preparation of contingency
plans, operational models
and forecasts, wherever
offshore activities are
conducted.
Our user defined Met-Ocean
instrument platforms offer a
smart and flexible
observation system without
the huge cost of a custom
solution.
AADI systems for the oil and
gas industry include
Seaguard, RDCP, oil boom
Doppler log, AIS Oil Drift
Buoy, weather stations, wave
and tide stations and buoy
systems.

AADI produce weighing
systems for wheel loaders. The first
generation Loadtronic was
launched in 1991. In 2008
the third generation
Loadtronic was launched. The
system is the preferred
weighing system for some of
the leading manufacturers of
wheel loaders worldwide.
Loadtronic 3 is the only
truly dynamic system in the
market today and it is also
approved for legal trade in
compliance with OIML
R51/MID-006. Loadtronic 3 gives our customers the
advantage of weighing while
moving the wheel loader. I
addition, Loadtronic 3 provides our customers with
accurate weightings. This
does not only increase
productivity and profit, but
also prevents overloading of
the trucks.
Information may be displayed
on screen in real-time, or
may be stored for later
analysis. Loadtronic 3 has
an operator friendly user
interface with built in help
functions.

AADI
produserer
veiesystemet Loadtronic for
hjullastere. 1. generasjon
ble introdusert i 1991.
Fra 2008
er 3dje generasjons vekter,
Loadtronic 3, installert
hos våre kunder. Vektene er
foretrukket av av de ledende
produsenter av hjullastere
på verdensmarkedet.
Loadtronic 3
er det eneste virkelig
dynamiske vektsystem på
markedet idag, og det er
også godkjennt for kjøp og
salg i henhold til OIML
R51/MID-006. Med
Loadtronic 3 kan
brukerne kjøre som normalt
mens veiing pågår. I tillegg
er vektene meget nøyaktige.
Dette øker både
produktivitet og sikrer mot
overlasting.
Informasjonen blir vist
direkte på skjerm og kan bli
lagret for senere bruk.
Loadtronic 3 har
en meget brukervennlig
skjerm med god hjelp
funksjon.

Road & Traffic |
AADI produce advanced
traffic classifying systems
and road weather stations
for road and traffic
authorities.
Traffic classifying systems
from AADI can utilize
inductive loops, piezo
electric cables and Doppler
radar for detection and
classification of vehicles.
The systems provide
parameters such as speed,
length, gap and class of
every vehicle that passes.
Data can be displayed on
screen in real-time or may
be stored for later
analysis.
Road weather systems from
AADI can combine sensors
from our own product range
as well as third party
sensors. The products can be
delivered as stand-alone
devices, or as an advanced
part of a complete traffic
monitoring system or road
weather system. Both systems
may utilize solar cell
powering due to low
power consumption.
We acknowledge the
challenges facing today’s
traffic industry and in
cooperation with our
customers have developed
high quality and cost
effective solutions. |

Marine Transportation |
AADI offers real-time
Met/Hydro systems for docks,
ports, harbour and fairway,
marine terminals and
offshore, as part of our
standard system deliveries.
We are the manufacturer of
the systems and components
used to measure wind,
pressure, visibility, sea
and air temperature, sea
currents, waves and tides.
Data from systems can be
collected and distributed at
customer’s own preference.
Knowledge of current speed
and direction in real-time
at multiple depths will
increase navigation safety
and guide vessels to the
correct entrance based on
size, cargo and
displacement. This is
especially valuable when
performing difficult
maneuvering and in narrow
areas.
AADI also manufactures
products and systems for
hydrographic survey as well
as environmental monitoring.
For instance, we manufacture
products that will help
monitoring the position,
speed and direction of oil
spill via the vessels AIS
network. The data output
will provide decision makers
with important information
and help them get the
recovery equipment on site
to prevent further
environmental damage.
AADI equipment may provide
valuable information to
predict sediment movement
and be input in connection
with the dredging planning
process. |
