Mipeg Modular Systems
MIPEG is modular in design and can operate either as a simple electronic crane load indicator or as a monitoring and recording system.
With 30 years experience our engineering resources together with your input can produce a system to suit your individual requirements.
Available systems comprise the following
- The MIPEG 2000 Non-Recording System which complies with all known world wide rules and regulations which apply for Safe Load Indicators (Rated Capacity Indicators or Load Moment Limiters)
- The MIPEG 2000 Recording System which in addition to the above incorporates the recording feature. The lift records can be used to enter into a planned crane maintenance program based upon crane usage and can assist in an incident/accident investigation.
- The MIPEG RSI, Rope Speed Indication, assists the operator when “blind lifts” are performed. System input and output can warn the operator to avoid “anti two blocking” and exceeding the rope end position. If the system is combined with the MIPEG 2000 R system, Ton/Miles records can be provided to monitor the rope service life.
- The MIPEG OLM, crane slew Operation Limit Monitor, can warn and prevent the operator from entering sectors ( defined in 2D or 3D) with or without a load carried by the crane hook.
- The MIPEG GOPS, Gross Overload Protection system, can be provided when a MIPEG 2000 SLI is combined with another system (eg MIPEG RSI)
