AADI Live

This buoy is last addition tp an Oceanographic system of real-time weather observation and is a Data Buoy from Aanderaa Data Instruments, Bergen, Norway.

The Oceanographic Buoy called “Lafquen” comprises 20 sensors, 7 meteorological, 11 oceanographic and 2 internal.

It has a radio transmission system using UHF allowing real-time to information.

The signal is relayed by an earth station, where it is transformed and laterrelayed on the Internet.

The system is powered by solar panels with reloadable batteries.
