Recent international, national, and regional assessments, as well as recent
observed trends, make it clear that the weather and climate of the
twenty-first century is expected to be unlike the phenomena that the human
and natural systems adapted to during the twentieth century.
The specialty conferences, symposia, and special sessions that
compose the 2010 Annual Meeting present an enormous number of potential
topics of interest that have bearing on the meeting’s theme. These include
advances in modeling, from the regional to climate scale and from
deterministic to ensemble prediction; communication to stakeholders that
address issues of policy, operations, and new opportunities; data collection,
interpretation, and assimilation; research of anomalous weather and climate
events; mitigation and adaptation to climate change; applied meteorology and
climatology; education and outreach; and the emergence of new scientific
partnerships.

Pittcon is the world's annual premier Conference and Exposition on
laboratory science.
It is organized by The Pittsburgh Conference ton Analytical is Chemistry and
Applied Spectroscopy, a Pennsylvania not-for-profit educational corporation
which is comprised of the Spectroscopy Society of Pittsburgh (SSP) and the
Society for Analytical Chemists of Pittsburgh (SACP).
Pittcon attracts nearly 20,000 attendees from industry, academia and
government from 90 countries worldwide and is managed by a committee of
volunteers and a 10-person staff. Proceeds from Pittcon fund science
education and outreach at all levels, kindergarten through adult.
The Pittsburgh Conference donates nearly a million dollars each year in the
form of science equipment grants, research grants, scholarships and
internships for students, awards to teachers and professors, and grants to
public science centers, libraries and museums.

The 20th edition of Intertraffic Amsterdam 2010 will have a
celebratory flavour.
Over 800 exhibitors from more than 40 countries - with virtually the entire
top 50 global concerns in attendance - will show a comprehensive overview of

bauma 2010 - 29th International Trade Fair at the New
Munich Trade Fair Centre, Munich, Germany from April 19th to April 25th 2010
Come and see the latest Loadtronic products at bauma 2010.
Once again this event has strengthened its position as the leading platform
for the building and construction industry.
The 28th International Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Building
Materials Machinery, Mining Machines, Construction Vehicles and Construction
Equipment took place in 2007 at the New Munich Trade Fair Centre,
outstripping the last bauma in 2004 not only in terms of exhibition space
but also as regards exhibitor and visitor numbers.
