Temperature Sensors
Temperature Sensors 4050, 4060 and 4880/4880R are compact, intelligent temperature sensors designed for use on
Aanderaa Data Instruments Dataloggers and as stand-alone units.
The sensors are based on a thermistor sampled and linearized by a Digital Signal Processor (DSP).
The necessary calibration data are stored inside the sensor, so that the temperature can be presented
directly in engineering units without external calculations.
Available temperature sensors:
- Temperature sensor 4050 is available for Recording Current Meters RCM 9, RCM 9 MkII, RCM 9 IW,
RCM 9 LW and RCM 11, as well as a stand-alone RS-232 sensor for other applications. Depth range 0-6000m.
- Temperature sensor 4060 is available in shallow water (depth range 300m), intermediate water (depth range 2000m)
and deep water (depth range 6000m) versions. Designed to be mounted on the SEAGUARD® Platform as well as a stand-alone
RS-232 sensor for other applications.
- Temperature sensor 4880 is available for shallow water (depth range 300m) installation. Designed to be mounted on the SEAGUARD® Platform, used with SEAGUARD® Sensor String as well as a stand-alone RS-232 sensor for other applications.
- Temperature sensor 4880R is available for shallow water (depth range 300m) installation. Designed for stand-alone RS-422 applications.
